Overview

The Ourocard Altus Visa Infinite is Banco do Brasil's flagship card, created in partnership with Visa for the ultra-high-net-worth clients of the BB Private segment. It is a metal, invitation-only card that packs the full Visa Infinite ceiling of benefits: unlimited VIP lounge access, concierge, robust insurance and boosted points earning on international spend. Points are credited to the Livelo program and never expire while the card is active, allowing transfers to several airline programs. It is a niche product with a high annual fee and restrictive access criteria, but with one of the strongest travel value propositions in the Brazilian market.

Who it's for

Ultra-high-net-worth BB Private clients who spend heavily, travel frequently and value unlimited VIP lounges, concierge and aggressive points earning on international purchases.

Points earning

On international purchases the card earns up to 4 points per dollar under a promotional condition disclosed as valid until 09/30/2026; once the promotion ends, the base rate is 2.5 points per dollar. Points are credited to the Livelo program and do not expire while the card is active. The earning rate on domestic (real) purchases is not officially and transparently disclosed by the bank — confirm with your manager. International purchases carry an FX spread (around 4%) plus IOF tax.

Points program and transfers

Earning is done through the Livelo program. From Livelo you can transfer points to partner airline programs such as Latam Pass, Smiles, Azul Fidelidade and TAP Miles&Go, and take advantage of frequent transfer bonus promotions. Some international and hotel partners also appear in specialized sources, but the list may vary — check the active options on Livelo at the time of transfer.

Annual fee and waiver rules

The annual fee can be waived with monthly spending from R$ 25,000.00 on the card (primary and additional). The calculation typically excludes bill/boleto payments, the annuity installments themselves, protection services, cash withdrawals and finance charges. Confirm current rules with your Private manager, as amounts and conditions may change.
